CPS-2 bootleg warning
We have discovered that there are CPS2 bootleg games coming out of the far east. Basically these are old CPS-2 games that have been converted to run as newer CPS-2 games (only progear discovered so far). While the actual 'b' boards are original Capcom PCBs there are small daughter boards fitting directly into the ROM sockets that are not. These bootleg games are also suicide free using modified versions of the phoenix edition fixes.
Below are some pictures of what these games look like (pictures of how it should look can be found on our encryption page). I would advise anyone thinking of buying a CPS2 game that does not want one of these bootlegs to ask the seller to open the game and either supply a picture or confirm the battery is present and ROMs are in the sockets and not small daughter PCBs.
