Neo Geo MVS Game Prototyping PCB set

Salut tout le monde,

Tout est dans le titre...

Citation :Neo Geo Prototype PCBs

You are bidding on a set of Neo Geo Cartridge Prototyping PCBs manufactured in the UK by Vektorlogic.

These PCBs were developed to enable hardware compatibility testing for new games, enabling sets of EPROMs to be burned from game code and tested in an actual neo geo motherboard – enabling pre-production testing. This is an invaluable tool for any homebrew developer or potential commercial developer, as it allows bugs and glitches to be highlighted and countered, especially as there are no emulators which actually fully emulate the hardware setup of the neo geo motherboard. These boards were used in the Development of Super Bubble Pop and Manic Panic and highlighted several problems that had not been seen during emulation testing. The boards are socketed, which permits rapid change of EPROM devices after program/data changes are made.

The main program cart allows 2 x 4MBit x 16 bit EPROMs to be used, pin compatible with STM27C4002 devices, for main 68K code space. The audio ADPCM data is stored on up to 4 x 32MBit (16 bits wide) however this can be altered to take smaller devices by adjusting the on-PCB links to use down to 4MBit devices.

The Graphics cart used 4 MBit (8 bit wide) devices for FIX and Z80 code space, and up to 4 x 32 MBit (16 bits wide) devices for sprite data; again this is adjustable and permits the use of smaller devices if required via the link table. Link table adjustments are shown on the PCB silk screen layout.

The carts are fitted with, but not activated, security features, which will deter some of the keenest hackers, from getting into your code unprotected. For users wishing to go into full production of neo geo carts, this code can be incorporated into your finished game code as a separate service from Vektorlogic. New design cases and artwork production are also available for completed projects.

These cartridges are a new design and do not infringe any copyright that may be held by SNKCorp of Japan, or any subsequent holder of the IP rights originally belong to SNK Corp of Japan. Neo Geo is a registered trademark or SNK Corp Japan

Hmmm... donc si j'ai bien compris, on pourrait "burner" les EPROMs pour un Ghost Loop par exemple à  partir de la rom MAME... ou autres homebrews/hacks Neo Geo?! :? Mais bon 95£ c'est pas donné...
